Our business partner, a German based international player, is an independent payment service provider that offers a wide range of payment processing services, international merchant accounts and IPSP accounts. The company provides online and mobile payment solutions through its own international banking network, and its own connected alternative payment solutions.


A new development team is currently being established in Thessaloniki.  It has both the mindset & originality of an exciting start up, with lean/agile practices, a flat hierarchy, but with the stability & security of being a world-famous organization as well. 


For the new office in Thessaloniki (Greece) we are currently looking for a:
Product Owner / Manager

For full-time and permanent employment

Onsite in Thessaloniki, hybrid or fully remote

You show an innovative mindset to design, create and deliver products that meet customers’ needs and that users love. You are responsible for managing the products throughout their life cycle and creating KPI’s to quantify and measure success. As an expert in delivering complex products, you will interact with internal and external stakeholders. Your passion is to create a seamless experience for end users and merchants looking to go live on our platform or use our products and services. Therefore, you take care of product definition, end-to-end product development planning and go-to-market planning.

Your responsibilities

  • Act as a Product Owner across different Scrum teams and be the main point of contact between teams and stakeholders.

  • Work closely with the teams, assist them to meet the objectives and provide feedback on the product increments.

  • Align the product roadmap with all stakeholders and contribute to the long-term vision.

  • Define detailed product requirements based on high level product roadmap and refine them through cross-department and stakeholder discussions.

  • Manage and prioritize product backlog items, write high-quality user-stories with well-defined acceptance criteria.

  • Work closely with technical leads and Agile Project Managers to drive release planning and execution.

  • Oversee the development stages, evaluate product progress and report it to stakeholders.

  • Set and manage cross-functional team priorities and gracefully handle changes in priorities.

  • Collect, detail and prioritize customer specifications and requirements.

  • Document use cases to demonstrate the business value of product features.

  • Work closely with UI/UX designer to define the best workflows.

  • Prepare product demos to stakeholders.

  • Prepare and distribute release notes for the product releases.

Your profile

  • Bachelor degree (higher education in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or other related fields) or equal education.

  • Previous experience as a Product Owner or similar role, ideally in a FinTech environment.

  • In depth knowledge of agile methodologies like Scrum, Kanban, etc.

  • Experience with Project Management & Issue Tracking Tools like Jira, Confluence.

  • Experience with product roadmap creation, user journeys and user stories definition, and stakeholder management.

  • Awareness of customer, user and product needs.

  • Proficient in customer interviews, A/B testing or other customer research techniques.

  • Experienced in cross-department collaboration.

  • Ability of proposing impactful solutions to influence product roadmap

  • Excellent knowledge of English.

  • Flexibility and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Initiative team player with effective communication, facilitation, presentation, and negotiation skills.

  • Positive and motivated mindset with excellent organizational skills and sense of responsibility.

  • Team player with great problem-solving and good organizational skills.
