Senior DevOps Engineer (m/w/d)

For the strengthening of our Team in Thessaloniki, we are looking for a:

 

Senior DevOps Engineer (m/w/d)  

Full-time and permanent employment. Onsite, hybrid (ID0371) 

​

Your responsibilities: 

  • Maintain and optimize the cloud infrastructure  

  • Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate software delivery and ensure the reliability and scalability of the CI/CD processes  

  • Utilize IaC tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible) to automate infrastructure provisioning and management  

  • Install, configure, and maintain services such as proxy servers and relational databases, with a strong background in networking and security hardening  

  • Maintain and enhance infrastructure components in a scalable and cost-effective manner  

  • Collaborate with the development, operations, and QA teams to integrate DevOps practices into the software development lifecycle  

  • Participate in code reviews and tackle performance bottlenecks, providing expertise on deployment and infrastructure aspects  

  • Investigate and resolve incidents related to infrastructure and deployment and provide support to development and operations teams during critical issues  

  • Implement monitoring solutions to proactively address system issues and identify and implement optimizations to enhance system performance and resource utilization 

 

Your profile: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Docker Certified Associate) are a plus  

  • Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role  

  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI) and version control systems (e.g., Git)  

  • Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Shell, Python) for automation tasks  

  • Strong understanding of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)  

  • Experienced with Windows and Linux administration, service management and configuration  

  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and IaC tools  

  • Knowledge of networking concepts and security best practices  

  • Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana) and logging solutions  

  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills and adaptability and willingness to learn new technologies  

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
