For our client, we are currently looking for a:

Project/ Risk Manager (m/w/d)

For full-time and permanent employment (ID0348)
Onsite, hybrid

As the Project Manager, you will lead and manage medium to high-risk projects with cross-functional teams, partners, and customers. You will ensure integration, alignment, and successful delivery.  In addition, you will be accountable for project outputs, schedule, scope, quality, cost, and risk management.

Your responsibilities:

  • Manage large, diverse teams in multiple locations.

  • Provide cross-functional leadership and collaborate with internal or customer/ account teams to determine project goals and objectives.

  • Proactively identify risks, communicate risks to appropriate stakeholders, and develop a risk mitigation strategy and a contingency plan.

  • Lead and advocate PM best practices of integration, scope, time, quality, communication, risk- and procurement management.

  • Establish and evaluate success metrics, resolve issues, approve changes, and drive process improvements.

  • Execute project lifecycle and gate requirements and manage budgets and resource utilization.

  • Foster a positive work environment and communicate progress and impacts effectively.

  • Define criteria, prioritize stakeholder requirements, and set scope boundaries.

  • Seek to develop team members. Engage in transition and succession planning.

Your profile:

  • Master’s certification in project management (e.g., CAPM from PMI, CSM from Scrum Alliance, or PMP from PMI, along with PMBOK concepts, terminology, and methodology).

  • Telecom or related industry experience (networks, circuits, VoIP etc.).

  • Knowledge of project management tools (Wiki, Confluence or similar) and MS Office.

  • Experience in project scoping, planning, management, execution and controlling.

  • Knowledge of procurement, budgeting, and cost control processes.

  • Experience in quality assurance and risk management.

  • Change management expertise and cross-functional conflict resolution.

  • Top-notch interpersonal and presentation abilities combined with strong analytical and decision-making skills.

  • Fluent in English, and German.
